What areas do you service?+
Darwin, Palmerston and surrounding NT areas — including Humpty Doo, Berry Springs and Top End worksites. On-site training is available for crews.
What machines can I train on?+
Excavator, skid steer / bobcat, roller, front end loader, backhoe, dozer, grader, water cart, telehandler, tip truck, articulated haul truck, plus VOCs across multiple machines and Civil Plant Operator combos.
How much does training cost?+
Standard machinery tickets start from $495 per ticket. VOCs start from $300. The 3-ticket package starts from $1,210. Crew discounts may be available.
How much is a VOC?+
VOCs start from $300 per machine. Multi-machine package pricing may be available.
Do you offer discounts for multiple tickets or group bookings?+
Yes — discounts are available for multiple machine tickets, group bookings and multiple student bookings. Call 0459 532 358 for a package quote.
Do I need experience before booking?+
No. We train beginners through to experienced operators wanting a refresher or VOC. Just turn up ready to learn.
What do I need to bring?+
Photo ID, steel cap boots, long sleeves and pants, hi-vis if you have it, sun protection and a water bottle.
Is a deposit required?+
Yes. A $250 deposit secures booking. We'll contact you to confirm dates and final details after you submit an enquiry.
Can you train companies and crews?+
Absolutely. We deliver on-site training for civil contractors, councils and businesses across Darwin and Palmerston. Ask for a crew package quote.
Do you offer local training in Darwin and Palmerston?+
Yes — Galltan Civil Training is locally based and delivered. No fly-in trainers, no travelling interstate to get a ticket.
Who is the training delivered in alignment with?+
Training and assessment delivered through RTO partnership where required/applicable.
